Birthday Celebrations

Over the weekend I celebrated my Nonno's 80th birthday. The family decided it would be nice to go out for lunch for the occasion so we ventured to De Bortoli Winery, which is about a 40 minute drive from my house. The day was absolutely beautiful, we were lucky to have great weather and I felt right at home as assigned photographer for the event.
I made this pinboard for the event. I collected a few photos of my Nonno from over the years. I took a large foam board and used chalk paint to coat the backing and then used my silhouette cameo machine to cut out the number 80, with white glitter card stock. As everyone arrived, I took photos of them with my Polaroid camera and then stuck them onto the board as I went. Everyone really enjoyed doing this, and the polaroid pictures turned out to be a lovely keepsake for my Nonna and Nonno once the event was over.
